Esteros del Ibera

A Journey to the Heart of the Guarani Tradition

Venturing into the Iberá Wetlands is like immersing yourself in a vast horizon, where grasslands and reeds create a landscape that seems to stretch to infinity. This unique journey, which begins at the Carambola Portal in Concepción, Corrientes, takes us through one of the richest and most diverse ecosystems in the world, where nature is at its most spectacular. For three nights and four days, the Iberá trek invites us to explore these landscapes on horseback, traversing marshy areas and crossing lagoons and wetlands in canoes, following routes that have been traveled by generations.

A deep immersion in Guarani culture and tradition

The Iberá Wetlands are not only a destination of unparalleled natural beauty; they are also a model of conservation and sustainability. This journey is part of the Rewilding Foundation's conceptual approach, a collaboration that aims to protect and preserve the natural wealth of one of the world's largest aquifers and wildlife reserves. Through this partnership, the goal is not only to enjoy the environment but also to contribute to its conservation, ensuring that future generations can experience the same natural wonder.

The Iberá crossing is not a conventional tourist excursion; it's an opportunity to connect with the most authentic aspects of the Corrientes landscape. Here, nature is not just observed, but experienced, breathed, and felt in every corner. This journey allows us to disconnect from routine and reconnect with what is essential, in an environment where time seems to stand still, and life flows with a serenity that only the Iberá Wetlands can offer.
